POLICY
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 2026-05-11
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of the Beolta platform and services provided at beolta.com. This Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all users of the Service — including buyers accessing match pages, unregistered contractors, and registered contractors using the portal.
1. Purpose & Scope
This Policy outlines the rules and guidelines for using the Beolta proactive matchmaking platform responsibly and ethically. Beolta connects buyers showing intent signals with curated contractor shortlists across multiple industry verticals. The integrity of this process — fair ranking, accurate data, and honest deal reporting — is a core operating principle. This Policy exists to protect that integrity for the benefit of all participants.
2. Permitted Uses
You may use the Service to:
- Access buyer-intent match pages as a buyer or buyer representative, without registration, to evaluate curated contractor shortlists
- Register as a contractor, manage your profile source references, and receive match notifications relevant to your service specializations
- Initiate contact with buyers introduced via Beolta match pages, in compliance with applicable anti-spam laws and the data handling requirements in Section 4
- Integrate your contractor portal data with CRM and business workflow tools using outbound webhooks and CSV export (Scale tier)
- Submit source URL references to improve your contractor profile data accuracy (contractor-provided source URLs only; direct profile text editing is not permitted)
- Report feedback on match quality using the per-contractor “Report mismatch” link on match pages
3. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Service for any of the following purposes:
3.1 Spam & Unsolicited Communications
- Sending bulk unsolicited emails or messages in violation of applicable anti-spam laws (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, PECR, or equivalent)
- Contacting buyers or other parties who have opted out of communications or whose contact data you have obtained through the Service
- Misrepresenting your identity or company affiliation when contacting buyers introduced via Beolta
3.2 Scraping & Unauthorized Access
- Scraping, crawling, or using automated tools to extract data from the Service beyond the scope of your subscription tier or our documented APIs
- Attempting to access accounts, match pages, or data that do not belong to you or to which you have not been granted access
- Circumventing rate limits, token expiry, access controls, or other technical restrictions imposed by the Service
3.3 Illegal & Harmful Use
- Using the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Engaging in fraud, phishing, or any form of deceptive practice in connection with your use of the Service or your interactions with buyers
- Using buyer or contractor data to discriminate against individuals based on protected characteristics
- Transmitting malware, viruses, or any other harmful code through the Service
3.4 Abuse of AI Features
- Attempting to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or extract the underlying AI models, matching algorithms, or scoring logic
- Using AI-generated outputs (match scores, research briefs, outreach copy) to generate misleading or deceptive content for distribution
- Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing AI-generated outputs as a competing matching or intelligence service
3.5 Circumventing Matchmaking Integrity
The following actions are prohibited as they undermine the integrity of the matchmaking process, on which buyers rely:
- Attempting to bribe, coerce, or incentivize Beolta personnel to manipulate shortlist rankings or match inclusion decisions
- Gaming profile fields, submitting fake case studies, generating synthetic reviews, or taking any other action designed to artificially inflate your match score
- Operating or controlling multiple contractor accounts with undisclosed common ownership in order to monopolize shortlist positions within a vertical
- Misrepresenting the contractor-buyer relationship — for example, routing a Beolta-introduced deal through a related party, subsidiary, or nominee to evade or reduce commission obligations
- Failing to disclose a confirmed deal with a Beolta-introduced buyer when the deal falls within the 12-month attribution window (the self-disclosure obligation is part of the commission clause in the Terms of Service)
4. Data Handling Requirements
When using buyer contact data from a Beolta match page, registered contractors must:
- Comply with all applicable data protection and anti-spam laws (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and equivalents) when processing or contacting individuals whose data appears on a match page
- Honor opt-out requests within the statutory windows: within 30 days for GDPR requests and within 10 business days for CAN-SPAM requests
- Maintain a suppression list of individuals who have unsubscribed or opted out, and apply it to all subsequent outreach
- Maintain appropriate security measures to protect any personal data received from Beolta match pages
- Not share, sell, or transfer buyer contact data obtained via Beolta to third parties without appropriate legal basis
5. Compliance Obligations
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service:
- Complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws
- Respects the privacy and data protection rights of individuals whose contact data you access through match pages
- Adheres to industry standards and best practices for B2B outreach in your vertical
- Includes appropriate disclosures to buyers about how their company was identified and matched, if asked
6. Enforcement & Consequences
Violations of this Policy may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- Warning notification via email
- Temporary suspension of your account or portal access
- Permanent termination of your account and access to the Service
- Suspension of commission rate grandfathering for existing deals (for repeated violations by registered contractors)
- Reporting of illegal activities to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action without prior notice.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violations of this Policy, please report them to us at hello@beolta.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.
